Developer mode in iPhone: what it is and why we ask

In iOS the path is longer than in Android. It is no use pretending that it is not — it is better to explain what each step does.

Content

Who comes from the weird Android: In iPhone, installing an application that did not come from the App Store requires steps that Apple purposely placed. The developer mode is one of them.

What is it?

It is a switch on the iOS itself that releases the device to run signed applications outside the App Store's normal flow. It exists for those who develop apps, and it is the same way we use to deliver ours.

What he's not

It's not jailbreak. Do not unlock the device, do not remove system protection and is reversible at any time in the same menu where it was connected.

Onde fica

In Settings, in the Privacy and Security section, the developer mode option appears. On some devices it only becomes visible after the first attempt to install — it is normal behavior of iOS, not your mistake.

  • Adjustments → Privacy and Security
  • Enable developer mode
  • The device restarts and asks for confirmation

Version limit

Our iOS products work up to iOS 26.5. Above that we still don't have a compatible version, and we'd rather say that before the purchase than let you find out later.

Se travar em algum passo

Each game has its own requirement, and the way changes a little between them. The official application is exclusive to Android; on iPhone, call the support via the official channel with the device model and the version of iOS.
